What the Web Cannot do For Kids
No matter how powerful technology is, it is still limited in more ways than one. For one, a child will not grow into a brilliant student through computers alone. Kids’ learning is maximised if they get individualised attention and encouragement from teachers and parents. Hence, adults must understand that all sorts of technology – blackboard, slide shows, videos, and the Internet – are merely instruments.

Kids’ Learning experience
Technology’s effectiveness in child development largely depends on how it is used. Second point, a child will not become a well-rounded, successful adult through computers alone. Kids need to live a balanced life by engaging in outdoor activities, socialisation, school activities, healthy relationships with family and strong adult role models. Technology will never replace or draw close to becoming children’s parents. Hence, parents should never leave their responsibilities to the Internet or any other technology. Nevertheless, they may spend parenting time by joining kids in Net surfing or online gaming. There is no better way of performing a parenting job than parents doing it themselves.
