Kids and Internet Surfing
Parents want to be sure that the school their kids enrol in, the community they live in, or the place they spend a holiday in is safe and secure at all times. The Internet is a virtual world – it is another form of school campus, neighbourhood, or vacation resort. Hence, it should be completely safe and suitable for kids. But the fact is, it is not. The Internet is everywhere and contains almost everything imaginable. What adults can do is make the young ones understand that not everything online is appropriate for them, just like television shows.

Child-friendly websites
Parents should influence their kids far more than the Internet does. They need to decide where can and cannot go on the Internet. They can do this by blocking sites with adult or inappropriate content, tracking the sites visited by your children by reviewing logs, and reminding kids not to talk with strangers even online. The Internet technology is definitely not evil. As a matter of fact, it can help in child rearing. Thus, parents need to supervise the net surfing activities of their kids.
